The volume of hydrocarbons production at Karachaganak field already in the following year will be increased to 9 million tons per year. The second phase of Karachaganak project costing 3.5 billion USD will be completed by the next year, the first oil injection from Karachaganak into Caspian pipeline consortium. But this will take place in the near future. 359
