BMI forecasts that Kazakhstan will account for 4.49% of Central and Eastern European (CEE) regional power generation by 2013. CEE power generation in 2008 was an estimated 2,096 terawatt hours (twh), representing an increase of 2.8% over the previous year. We are forecasting a rise in regional generation to 2,340twh by 2013, representing an increase of 11.6% over our five-year forecast horizon. 703
