In late July Kazakh sports fans celebrated the end of Alexandre Vinokourov’s two-year suspension. Yet, Vinokourov’s comeback was not as smooth as he expected. At a press conference before this year’s Tour de France the cyclist was sure he would be easily accepted to Kazakh cycling team Astana; he even said that the team’s manager Johan Bruyneel was free to leave if he didn’t want Vino back. 911
