Agency for Land Resources Management summed up work results for 2011

Today, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov chaired an enlarged session of the board of the Agency for Land Resources Management of Kazakhstan where the results of the Agency’s work done in 2011 were summed up as well as the tasks for 2012 were defined in the light of implementation of the President’s Address to the Nation ‘Socio-economic modernization – main direction of development of Kazakhstan’.

Chairman of the Agency Kadyrkhan Otarov informed that the interregional land inspections held over 6.5 thousand inspections of the land relations entities in order to monitor the compliance with land laws in 2011. 3830 violations on 4.3 mln ha were detected and 2681 of them were resolved.

The issues of functioning of automated information system of land cadastre were also raised at the session. As of January 1, 2012, there are attributive data regarding 4.6 mln lands and graphical data on 3.5 mln lands in the republican database of the automated information system of land cadaster. The information on 4.3 mln lands and their owners (land users) was submitted to the information system of the Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan.

The public service on registration of land ownership rights is planned to be rendered in the electronic format within the e-government in 2012-2014.

As was earlier reported, the photographic operations in the territory of Kokshetau town, Shardara Reservoir and Arnasai Dam for renewal of topographic maps were conducted as well as in the territory of 85 localities of South Kazakhstan region for forming of digital topographic maps.

The tasks for 2012 in the light of implementation of the President’s Address to the Nation were defined at the session.

Upon the completion of the session, First Deputy Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov set a number of tasks before the Agency for Land Resources Management in view of the implementation of the President’s Address to the Nation. In particular, he gave instructions to take a number of measures on target use of lands, continue agricultural lands inventory and conduct an audit of the lands allocated for construction of individual houses and take measures on effective use of agricultural lands.
